We have always produced our roccamore shoes in Italy, but now production has expanded to Portugal. Besides increasing capacity, working with several different factories that specialize in different shoe types and styles allows us to expand our range and offer a wider variety of shoes.

Portugal is known for its innovative approach and investment in renewable energy and high environmental standards. They are promoters of recycling materials, reducing chemicals and CO2 emissions, and have also invested in cutting edge technology and the latest machinery to achieve more environmentally friendly production methods. There are strict environmental standards that factories must meet and they must obtain certifications before they can export their product.

The factory in Portugal was selected from more than 20 factories for its excellent craftsmanship and high level of quality.

All shoes are handmade by skilled artisans, just like in Italy, and they work with the best equipment in production, so the quality is the same as always. The leather is produced just outside the city of Porto in Portugal and in Italy.

To ensure optimal comfort in the shoes, we still use the lasts we designed and developed in Italy. So our shoes made in Portugal have the comfort you know.

Our manufacturing partner is a family-owned business with great pride and passion for their work, as well as being one of the best on the market. Their expertise includes the block heels that several of our models have, which they produce with great precision.

Our shoes are made by women for women and named after some of the coolest of them. Our community is involved in the entire design process, from idea to finished shoe, and a close partner in constantly improving comfort. Every year we raise money for an organization that inspires women to stand strong.

PLANET

We focus on durable materials, good craftsmanship and high quality, so that our products last for many years. Our factories are all family owned and are some of the best in the world. We work with metal-free, vegetable and chrome-tanned leather, and use approx. 30% Scandinavian hides in the collection.

PRODUCT

Our shoes are made to last for many years, so we facilitate both repairs of your shoes and the resale of pre-loved models, as well as working to create a transparent value chain with QR codes in our hoes that show the shoe's entire journey.

PURPOSE

Our mission is to inspire women to stand strong and take their place in the world. With our Rebels campaigns, we celebrate the women who are not afraid to stand up for themselves and others, and create a community where we lift and inspire others to stand strong.
