ANDREAS GYLLING ÆBELØ. BUSINESS ADVISOR, DIVERSITY ADVOCATOR AND #ROCCAMOREREBEL

"Yes, you can call me Homo!" Andreas Gylling Æbelø says with a big smile. "To me, it's not a negative word. It's positive. A great word."

The experienced business advisor holds a Master's Degree in Rhetorics and Sociology and knows what words mean and what they can do. "I'd like to demystify what you can and cannot say to people. You can use any word you like, as long as you say it in a positive context."

Andreas is passionate about diversity and promotes an inclusive culture in articles and talks. "I am teaching people how to use words in a caring and positive way. It is about showing respect, ensuring everyone's in and feeling comfortable."

Andreas has not always been comfortable calling himself Homo. "But I started loving it once I got the courage to admit who I am. You shouldn't just accept who you are, you should love it and embrace it."

ALL I WANT FOR XMAS...

This year, take Andreas’ positive spirit and pride and give as a Xmas gift to everyone you love.

The portrait of Andreas is shot by award-winning Danish photographer Marie Hald.

Anna Thygesen, communication advisor and #RoccamoreRebel

If there's one thing Anna Thygesen likes more than anything else, it's honesty. The candid communication advisor has always been bold in speaking her mind, even if what she says might not get her many fans or likes.

"I can't stand hypocrisy and double standards," the opinionated lady states. As an expert on crisis communication, Anna knows what kind of trouble you get into when what you say doesn't correspond with what you do.

"I try to be honest with myself. To stay true to what I believe. It's all about knowing your values and ethics. If you have that right, it doesn't matter what other people think of you. That's why I can look in the mirror and tell myself I am doing good; I have a great life."

ALL I WANT FOR XMAS...

We would love to wrap up Anna's honesty and fighter spirit in a parcel and give it to everyone as Xmas. She's an inspiration to us all and a true #RoccamoreRebel.

Katrine Lee Larsen, Founder, CVO and #RoccamoreRebel

If there is one thing Katrine wants for Xmas, it is plastic-free oceans. But since Santa probably isn't given that to her, she is doing something about it herself.

In 2019 she founded Copenhagen Cartel, a company based on the mission to reduce maritime plastic pollution. Copenhagen Cartel sells swimwear and sports apparel made of recycled fishnets and uses its surplus to support ocean-cleaning activities.

ALL I WANT FOR XMAS

Katrine is a true #RoccamoreRebel, who finds energy going against the plastic-files tides by turning the problem into a solution. That rocks!

Elisa Lykke, PR agent, erotic fiction writer and #RoccamoreRebel

We might not say it aloud, but who wouldn't like to have their imagination aroused? Elisa Lykke doesn't shy away from erotic fantasies. She embraces them unashamedly and makes them public.

The 50-year-old manager and PR agent is the woman behind the successful series of erotic fiction books called FEMALE FANTASIES (I-IIIV). The stories are written by Elisa and other women who don't mind sharing their sweet dreams.

The books are a bold statement of women's right to enjoy and express their sexual fantasies. And a great read for those long winter nights.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

#RoccamoreRebel is a series of portraits that pay homage to women who stand up for themselves and those around them.

Women today do not need empowerment, but need to believe in ourselves and stand up for who we are. The future is feminine and we want to celebrate the women who stand out and dare to make a difference.

BEHIND THE CAMERA

#RoccamoreRebel is shot by the Danish award-winning photographer Marie Hald. Her pictures tell stories about our society, the human body and mental illness.

Marie has won prestigious awards such as Femina's Feminist of the Year and Nikon's Women Photograph (2019). She has grown to be part of the roccamore family and is pictured here wearing her favorite couple - Rebecca.
